If you are
arriving alone, but would prefer to save money by having a
roommate: If you are
arriving or meeting with another workshopper(s) and you would like to be
roommates: You are, of course, welcome to arrive with a non-workshopper friend(s) or spouse. They would also be included in the breakfast/dinner meal package. While they would not be permitted to observe and attend the workshop, itself, they are more than welcome to enjoy the facility and grounds of the Spruce Lodge. Naturally, we also encourage everyone to take advantage of the many activities and things to see in Montana's "Glacier Country." If you are departing the area on Saturday—after the workshop—we recommend that you spend Friday night in Kalispell (closer to the airport or train depot). Our group is not able to stay at Spruce Lodge on Friday night, as they will be welcoming their weekend guests. After our Farewell Reception (5pm to 9pm Friday evening) at Gary's home/studio (which is on the way to Kalispell), we recommend that you book your Friday night lodging at Hilton Garden Inn (free airport shuttle) or the historic Grand Hotel. Of course, there are many other hotels available in Kalispell, as well. |

We highly recommend that you stay at Spruce Lodge. Not only is it the best lodging/meal value, but you will enjoy the experience of staying in this beautiful setting. Spruce Lodge is typically used for weddings, retreats and workshops, such as ours. But, they do only have 13 rooms, so book early! The next closest accommodations are in Somers (10 miles) and Kalispell (18 miles).
