For Early Risers Who Wish That It Could Be Morning All Day
This is the first significant trip we have made since the Covid days.
Our goal was to find a winter escape, within one day’s drive from home, that offers paved bike trail opportunities. We may have found it here in the St. George, Utah. We are anxious to explore the Zion National Park and Snow Canyon areas via bicycles (ebikes, since there is so much elevation variance around here).

Another great two weeks of watercolor workshops! So much electricity, talent, and camaraderie condensed into 5 days.
It goes too fast and when it ends, Marlene and I feel like “empty nesters” (all over again).
My Audiobook rendition of Searching for Alpha Centauri in a 64′ Chevy is now available on Spotify, Apple, Google Play, Amazon/Audible, Kobo/Walmart, and Barnes & Noble.
Creating an audiobook has given me an appreciation of professional narrators. “It ain’t easy” speaking clearly (really clearly), consistently, and with varying inflection on a long script. Add to that the surprising and numerous voice anomalies an audio recorder reveals.
Thank goodness for the audio editor!
It has taken some time. There was just no fast way to process 95,000 words (well). But, I’m pleased with the results.

Artists from all over North America converged here last week for a fun week of painting at our 2nd annual home/studio watercolor workshop.
The weather ended up being pretty darn good for mid-May in NW Montana.
