page, what do you mean by "clear & sharp freeze-frame
ability"?
One of the least mentioned
attributes of the DVD medium is its ability to pause, or
"freeze-frame", with an undistorted still image. When you
try to pause an old VHS tape, the still image is very distorted and
jittery--essentially useless as an image to refer to, while painting.

A DVD's ability to provide a clear,
undistorted freeze-frame, makes it far easier to paint along with.
You can pause it at any point and have a clear, still image to refer
to. It is like having a book with thousands of large, still images
to refer to.
