On a beautiful full moon night, from our deck, we watched the launch of the Solar Orbiter. It is headed off to orbit and study the sun, at about one-third of Earth’s distance.
I’m betting it’s going to get too hot to touch.
The launch was actually more impressive than my poor quality nighttime photos depict. And it was fun to simultaneously watch NASA’s live webcast of the event.
