Winter Solstice Soon
3:45 in the afternoon—one day shy of winter solstice—and it almost looks like sunset.

Crazy Fit
What are the odds that this boat would just barely (and I mean baaaaarely) fit inside my garage? The windshield rubbed the top of the garage door weatherstripping as it went in. And there is no more than one-half inch excess space between the back wall and the garage door.
I pre-measured everything, but with those kinds of close tolerances I could never be sure that it would fit, beforehand.
But I lucked out! In hindsight, I should have bought a lottery ticket too.
As long as the garage does not shrink this winter, it should work out fine.
