It is a little unnerving for us “inlanders” to look down and see no beach — just thrashing ocean right up to the retaining walls. The sea is angry today!

Easily the most cars on the beach since our arrival on New Years. It is, also, not-so-coincidentally one of the warmest days this year.

It just makes me feel good to know I don’t have to go far if I get a hankering for a hotdog or umbrella.
