I wasn’t too pleased that our neighbor to the north decided to “thin out” their trees. Since it is uninhabited acreage, it had (sort of) been our private forest.

But on the plus side, it provided us with a new view to the north, looking in the distance to Glacier National Park. And, last night, it gave as the catbird seat for looking down on the bay and the Lakeside fireworks show.
