The Grizzlies nudge out a big one under the lights and fog of a chilly Missoula evening. On to the FCS Texas championship game in January.

Snow Girl

As then-Minnesotans, we married in mid-December so that we could honeymoon at a ski resort in the Rockies during the pre-Christmas off-season. The plan was Breckenridge, but no snow. Then we drove to Vail, but no snow. But we finally found our deep snow and sunny weather and a great resort in Aspen!

That was 43 years ago, today.

The beautiful snow girl I married is the same beautiful snow girl today (above).

I’m a lucky guy!
