Tomorrow we’ll give downhill skiing another go — this time bringing our ski boots along. The valley snow dusting may bode well for the nearby mountain ski area.

BTW, those are our winter navigation lights — easily mistaken as Christmas lights.

Well, “evenings” of wine & roses, actually.
With the aid of a propane heater and fire pit, we have been enjoying some outdoor winter evenings. Since a Florida escape is “not in the cards” this year, we are determined to “toughen up” and make the most out of the cold weather.
