How appropriate to encounter the year’s first Indian Paintbrush at the conclusion of two weeks of Montana watercolor workshops.

After a 4-year hiatus, we returned to our watercolor workshop program these past two weeks. It was good to be back in the saddle. What great groups of artists! Some new faces and many familiar. What a pleasure working with people who love the challenges and rewards of the watercolor medium.

And, this was our first annual home/studio workshop.

Our daughter went X-Country skiing at Lolo Pass (Idaho-Montana border), with friends last night, under a full moon. She brought back these cool photos.

We’re mowing the grass in the valleys, but it’s still snowing in the high country.

Yet, another gift from the China, arriving somewhere tomorrow.
