That’s us on the far side of the island (where I would reside if I were a trout).

I’m not a country western guy per se, but I do like Chris Stapleton and some good old George Strait from time to time.

By coincidence, I watched the 2017 (dubbed) Russian movie, The Spacewalker, on the same day as SpaceX’s first “private” spacewalk (or, at least, first “private” peeking outside).
Of course, we are all familiar with the 1965 Soviet “first space walk” being their high water mark in the space race with us. But that’s all I knew about it. I was shocked to learn of all the
near death experiences these two brave Soviet cosmonaut-pioneers were subjected to. I suspected the movie was unrealistically dramatized until I did a little reading about the flight.
Turns out it was, in fact, a wild, wild ride for these guys!
The Spacewalker is currently showing on Amazon Prime. The Russian-to-English dubbing is a little painful, but it is well worth the watch.

After 22 years of living in Montana, Marlene got her first cowboy hat.
Tomorrow we will shop for a horse, saddle, rope — and maybe some cattle.
