I liked the name of this loooong boardwalk to the beach. I liked the looks of it too, all weathered and gnarly. I’m guessing it has seen more than a few days of excessive sun, salt, and wind — just like me, come to think of it.

The Sea Was Angry

With a hard wind blowing off of the water, I learned that a bicycle is not as effective in a beam reach as a sailboat.

This winter, after a 30-year hiatus, we have become “biking fools” again (as opposed to “just-your-run-of-the-mill fools,” I guess).
