Too cold for skiing and almost warm enough for biking. Digging these hill-leveling ebikes!
La Bamba Beach Biking Redux
Thinking eSpring

What do you do if you live in 3-dimensional Montana and love biking, but hate hills? Well, now you can purchase an ebike (aka hill-leveler).
Call me a wimp, but I do not find biking up steep hills any fun. I don’t even like flying down them, because I feel like I am giving up hard earned elevation. But now, with a little electrical assist, hills are fun!
I just assembled Marlene’s new Core-5 and took it for a pre-snowstorm spin. Life changing! This is easily the best invention since the Roomba!
Aqua Girls
Still Useful After All Of These Years

I have been relegated to a downhill-mountain-bike shuttle chauffeur and aerial videographer for my son and grandson. I drive them to the top of the mountain behind our house and they roll all the way down, a 4,000′ vertical drop. They tell me its tiring, yet it’s all downhill. Go figure.
I think I raised my son to be too soft and he, in turn, raised his son to be too soft. When I used to mountain bike, I went uphill and downhill. No shuttles back then. It’s just like when I used to have to walk 10-miles to and from school (uphill both ways!).
Anyway, the pay for my services sucks, but I’m still hoping these punks will tip well.
A guy can dream can’t he?
Salt, Sand, & Snow

A year ago we were carefree beach bikers. But the “crazy climate” we are immersed in put the kibosh on it for this winter. So, we are back to XCountry skis.
I enjoy the skiing, yet I do miss the sand and salt air and the not-so-comforting rattle of my rusty bike chain.
Below is 2-1/2 minutes of reminiscing.
