I post this clip of Michael Johnson as a tribute to our late friend, Wayne J. Anderson. He and his wife were big fans. Interestingly, when they lived in northern Idaho, a neighbor who owned a music store brought Michael Johnson over to Wayne’s house to show him Wayne’s newly purchased guitar. I believe MJ strummed a tune or two.

We lost a dear friend today — family, really.
Wayne J. Anderson. A proud Vietnam Air Force veteran, BWCA guide, father, husband, and career commercial pilot (747-400 Captain) and commercial pilot instructor, and friend of so many.
We knew Wayne and his late wife, Velora, in their retirement years — spending countless evenings at their Flathead Lake home, sipping wine and solving the world’s problems.
Hopefully, they are together again. We miss them both. RIP.
The Arrangement
Here’s the arrangement. It’s simple. I put Marlene on the fish. She catches and reels them in. I gaff and fillet. If I do my job well, I get a tip.
All Of The Fun, None Of The Parental Responsibility
Marlene and I have two great kids who we love dearly. But I don’t know, in hindsight, I think we might have skipped straight to being grandparents. It’s a whole lot more fun! — just endless ice cream and no discipline.
