We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the McGlynn family, of course.

First, a viewing of Conan’s visit to the Irish American Heritage Center (hilarious), followed by outdoor fireside wine, and then tasty Irish-Mexican “paddychangas.” Ah, the Irish sure know how to live!

I’m always hesitant to put too much “grandkid” stuff on here because, well… everyone loves watching everyone else’s grandkids perform amazing feats, right?

But, forgive me, these two season-ending, game-winning goals from our high school sophomore grandson, Morgan, were too good to not post. Above, is a 30-second tie-breaking “tuck & roll puck plunge” (that’s our grandson flying into the corner backboards).

Below, is an 11-second tie-breaking “shootout sneak.” Not bad for a defenseman. Sorry, no sound.

Sometime between 11:59 PM and 12:00 AM, I turned another year older. But not Marlene. She keeps getting younger.


However, I can still legitimately claim to be sixteen. Yet, I’ll never be allowed to forget that unfortunate midnight squirrel incident.

Lakeside 19th

19-years ago, today, we officially moved to beautiful Lakeside, Montana, from Minnesota. Never a regret. It has been a wonderful place to live.

We moved over President’s Day Weekend and purchased a home on Political Hill from the Bushes. True.

It seems like yesterday. Where does time go?
