I came across this remake of the old Mama’s & Papa’s hit, Go Where You Wanna Go. It is sung by Jacob Dylan (of course, Bob Dylan’s son) and Jade Castrinos, and is used in Jacob’s documentary about the mid-60s LA music scene, entitled, Echo In The Canyon. In the doc, he describes the song’s interesting backstory.

I heard this old song on the “radio” yesterday. Here’s two greats performing it together (some years ago).
This was the first song that Gregg Allman ever wrote. Since the subject was fictitious, he he got stuck on the three syllable title name. Then, at a grocery store, he encountered a frantic mother calling out for her rambunctious toddler, “Melissa!” And that is music history.

As a longtime Joe Walsh fan, I was pleased to come across this 2006 rendition of Funk #49 (1970) — the much anticipated sequel to Funk #48. Joe preforms it with his reunited James Gang.
Yes, the boys are a tad older than their high-fame days — which makes it all the more fun to watch. The backup singers could well be their granddaughters.
Dakota Light Show

Even though we live at a relatively high latitude, having the lights of Kalispell to our north prevents us from seeing many of these.
