
I’m anxious to get out on Flathead Lake, but the water is still a bit thin (7 feet below full pool). Even if I could get in the slip, I would need a ladder to get in and out. We need to get those snow-packs melting in the mountains.

Winter 2.0

Just when we thought it was safe to go outside and play in Montana, Mother Nature pulls us back in.
Yesterday, I stowed away the snow shovels and snowblower. Then, we went for a bike ride. As you can see in the bike photo, it is snowing in the distant mountains, beyond Flathead Lake.
Does this concern us? Of course not. We are in the valley and it is springtime!
Nevertheless, we ate more than a few snowflakes peddling home.
