As then-Minnesotans, we married in mid-December so that we could honeymoon at a ski resort in the Rockies during the pre-Christmas off-season. The plan was Breckenridge, but no snow. Then we drove to Vail, but no snow. But we finally found our deep snow and sunny weather and a great resort in Aspen!

That was 43 years ago, today.

The beautiful snow girl I married is the same beautiful snow girl today (above).

I’m a lucky guy!

Well this is something. If I understand correctly, recent technology has enabled audio engineers to extract John Lennon’s vocal track from one of his old, crude demo tapes. With some video magic and Paul and Ringo’s recent vocal tracks, they have mixed together a brand new Beatles release. Some are dubbing it the last Beatles song.
