Flat seas. A good day for boaters ahead. Not bad for landlubbers either.
Still Behind Bars
It’s a bit warmer and I’m allowed a daily beer ration, but I’m still behind bars do’n some hard time — like in Alcatraz, surrounded by shark-infested waters.
This is definitely not an existence for the squeamish.
The Florida Myth
Thinking of escaping the cold by visiting warm, sunny Florida? Fugetaboutit. It’s a myth like dragons and unicorns.
Granted, it is not -27 degrees like Minnesota today, but we do have near blizzard conditions (sort of).
Even the sea critters are turning blue.

Winter Cars
No repeat of the previous winter’s “last vehicle on the rental lot” heady red convertible post-midlife-crisis muscle-car (that I was forced to take). So it is back to my slow ubiquitous earth-friendly eco-mobile.
But I might have the only Montana plates in Florida, which probably explains why the other drivers still give me a wide berth.
