Our slow migration back to Montana has a layover at an artist friend’s eclectic beach house, known as the Pink Pearl. This is a place chocked full of creativity and all things ocean.
By dumb luck, we stumbled upon a free outdoor country-western concert in nearby Panama City Beach, featuring Lonestar, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, and Suzy Bogguss.

By chance, I came across the art booth of an old friend of yesteryear. Like a true artist-salesman, he was nowhere to be found.
But then I heard the wail of a clarinet in the distance. On a hunch, I followed the sound through the crowds to find its source. Sure enough, there sat Don Nedobeck (aka Cartoon Cat Man)—just an artist doing his art.
